Ep #52: Why Labels, Identity, and Ego May Be Holding You Back

The Design You Podcast is celebrating its first birthday today! I’m so excited to keep going and am so thankful for all of you who have come along for the ride. Spring is nearly here and as we head into the next quarter of the year, I think it’s a great time to take a little step back and reflect.

If you’re working on being the best version of yourself, stepping up, and just putting yourself out there, this episode is for you. I’m sharing a story of how I got to where I am today and the hurdles I had to overcome to reach this place. It’s time to shed the perfect façade of who you think you need to be and start creating your dream life.

We all have thoughts in our brains that keep us stuck, and if I had listened to my ego we would not be here today. I hope this episode gives you permission to be who you want to be, however unique that may be.

If you would like to interact with me and other like-minded people on their journey to optimal health and wellness and who are putting these tools into practice, join us in the Design You Podcast Facebook community! Also, don’t forget to leave us an iTunes review! It helps more people like you find the podcast and love it as much as you do!
