I had a major a-ha moment in the gym today with my trainer. I’ve spoken quite a bit lately on the podcast about my health and wellness goals, and when I found myself wanting to self-sabotage my own plans by overeating and indulging in food I know would make me feel terrible, it made me wonder what was going on.
I’m currently reading a book on the enneagram and realized that I’m holding on to an identity that is fueling my repetitive self-sabotage around food. It can be really hard to catch onto your beliefs that are giving you the results you have, so today I’m diving into my own realizations that I’ve discovered, as well as solutions if you’ve recognized self-destructive patterns in your own life.
Listen in this week as I share some of my recent realizations around this topic for me. If you find yourself in the same situation with any area of your life you’re wanting to better, I want you to know that you don’t have to “fall off the wagon” to get back on, or stay stuck in a repetitive cycle of trying to reach your goal.
