Hi I’m Tobi and I’m a workaholic. Seriously, I’ve been a workaholic for years. It got so bad that when I showed up to a football game with my daughter, people thought I must have retired in order to be there!
Here’s the thing: I reached a point where I realize that what was I working so hard for it I couldn’t enjoy my time to rest and play. It didn’t make much sense!
Studies show that adults need play, like deep play, just as much as kids do. But after a certain age, we learned that “play” wasn’t socially acceptable anymore. So many of us, myself included, stopped doing it!
The truth is the only way to optimal health and wellness is by incorporating play. It’s healthy for us and helps us to truly relax. You know how you get all your best ideas in the shower or in the car? Well, play is another way to get your creative juices flowing too!
