If there’s one thing that’s been a constant in my life, it’s this: I’m a serial entrepreneur through and through. Whether it’s my interior design business, my home decor and clothing boutique Fairley Fancy, or my coaching biz for creatives, I’ve always had that fire to create something from nothing and build businesses that bring joy and boldness into the world.
But let me tell you, being a successful serial entrepreneur isn’t about following some cookie-cutter blueprint or fitting into anyone else’s idea of what success looks like. It’s about embracing who I am, what lights me up, and doing it all my way. I’ve built businesses that reflect my personality, my love for color and creativity, and my refusal to settle for anything less than what makes me feel alive. And the best part? I’ve learned to kick perfectionism to the curb, embrace the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship, and give myself permission to evolve as I go. Because if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that I’m never going to stay in just one lane—and that’s exactly how I like it.
Creating from Passion, Not Perfection
Early on, I thought entrepreneurship was about having the perfect plan, executing it flawlessly, and sticking to the script. But as a Manifesting Generator (yep, my Human Design type!), I’ve realized that perfectionism and rigid structures just don’t work for me. What drives me is passion, not perfection. And that means being willing to evolve, change directions, and take risks that light me up—even if they’re not part of the “perfect” plan.
I’ve had to learn how to let go of the idea that success means doing it all perfectly. Instead, I’ve embraced the idea that the more I follow what excites me, the more success—and joy—I find along the way.
Building Businesses that Reflect Who I Am
At this point, I’ve built multiple businesses, and each one reflects a different part of who I am. My interior design business lets me share my love for bold, vibrant spaces that spark joy. My home decor and clothing boutique, Fairley Fancy, lets me bring that same boldness and love for color to the masses so they can shop my curated looks for their home and also bring color into their wardrobes, inspiring women to embrace their unique style. And my coaching business for creatives allows me to mentor other visionaries who are trying to navigate the same entrepreneurial waters I’ve been swimming in for years.
What ties all these ventures together? They’re all expressions of my love for creativity, color, and living life on my terms. I don’t just build businesses for the sake of building them—I build them because they reflect my core values and passions, and they allow me to create impact in the world while staying true to myself.
Coaching Creatives: Helping Others Find Their Joy
One of my greatest joys as an entrepreneur has been launching my coaching business, where I get to work with other creatives who are trying to build their own empires. Whether they’re interior designers, product designers, fashion visionaries, or artists, I help them figure out how to build their businesses in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who they are.
Coaching creatives means helping them navigate the unique challenges that come with entrepreneurship—like breaking free from perfectionism, overcoming fear, and learning how to take bold risks. My goal is to help them tap into their own creative energy, build businesses that reflect their passions, and ultimately find joy in the work they do. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that chasing joy will take you a hell of a lot further than chasing perfection ever will.
Serial Entrepreneurship is All About Evolution
The thing about being a serial entrepreneur is that you’re constantly evolving. Each business I’ve built has taught me something new—about myself, about what works, and about what doesn’t. And the beauty of being a serial entrepreneur is that I don’t have to stick to just one thing. I can explore different passions, launch new ventures, and reinvent myself whenever it feels right.
Being a serial entrepreneur means embracing the twists and turns, the ups and downs, and the constant evolution that comes with building multiple businesses. It’s about trusting your instincts, staying aligned with your values, and knowing that success isn’t a straight line—it’s a wild, creative journey that takes you exactly where you need to go.
