Tobi’s Tuesday Tip

Posted by

Hi Friends,

It’s a super busy week around Tobi Fairley Interior Design and Associates as we are getting ready to welcome our Designer MBA campers tomorrow. My team and I will spend the next 3 days inspiring and educating these other talented and savvy designers on how to seize the day and take their businesses to the next level. I know they can do it and when they leave on Friday, they will know they can too!

I always include some of my favorite quotes in our camp, consulting, and coaching materials for inspiration, so thought I would share one with you today…

“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.”

— Jim Rohn, Motivational Coach

If you followed my goals, plans, and dreams for 2012, you know my main focus this year is Discipline. So my Tuesday tip is this…

You likely already know exactly what you need to know to achieve all your goals and dreams, but you just aren’t practicing them every, single day to get consistent results.

What are those things that you “know” you should be doing but just aren’t? I would love to hear from you. Plus putting things out in the universe keeps you accountable, right? So tell me, which will it be…discipline or regret?

Tobi, You are like my morning cup of coffee, I just can’t start my day without your inspiring blog.
Loved your “quote” today. I have suffered both the pain of discipline and regret. The pain of discipline last just a short time, but the pain of regret can last a lifetime.

  2. Ugghhh!! I really wanted to come this! Just started my blog (after a couple of years of procrastinating), and would have loved to soak up all the information you have to share. I attended one of your seminars at market in High Point and left so inspired (you spoke about smm)! Maybe next time!! Fun and knowledge to all attending!!

  3. This quote is so true, i think i would rather bear the pain of discipline than regret

  4. Hi Tobi! Love the discipline focus which is always a challenge! So, here’s what I came up with for myself…. Discipline is doing what you don’t want to do, so you can get what you want!
