Q: Hi Tobi,
I have seen a yellow lantern you designed featured on several blogs and in magazines. I love it!! I was wondering if it came in any additional colors? Where can I purchase one of my own?
Thanks for your help! Marty; Richmond, Virginia
A: Hi Marty,
Thanks for your question. I am so happy to know you like the Rothesay Lantern! It is truly one of my favorite designs and I enjoyed every minute of designing and collaborating to produce the final product.
I love all things Southern, so imagine how thrilled I was to have the lantern featured alongside some of our region’s best designers in the February issue of Southern Living.
This “Mood Lighting” story was a part of the monthly column “Made by Southern Hands.” It also features potter Charlie West, who’s beautiful lamps we’ve admired for some time, as well as a gorgeous turquoise chandelier designed by Ann Yancy Rogers of Ro Sham Beaux.
You asked about colors, and yes it does come in a variety of shades. In fact, you can have it custom painted in any shade to match your decor. Here’s one other option I love:
The Rothesay Lantern is available for purchase on our home goods site, TobiFairleyHome.com. You may have seen my post last week about one of the newest design marketplaces, Dering Hall. You can also purchase the Rothesay Lantern on Dering Hall’s site.
If you decide you don’t have the space for a large lantern, we also have the same style available in sconces that would be great for an entry or dining area.
Again, I want to say a special “Thank You” to Southern Living for featuring this design. I’m so honored to be a part of this and to share these designs with you all.
And thanks to you, Marty, for writing in to the blog. I hope you’ll visit our home wares site to see my latest lighting and fabric creations.
xoxo
