It’s always flattering to have another designer use your fabrics in their projects – especially when it turns out looking as fabulous as this room by Shay Geyer!

She used my Athens pattern as the leading edge for these gorgeous drapery panels — proving that it really is all in the details! I love using unexpected, thoughtful touches like this to pull a room together and put an unexpected twist on a project.
While Shay used the Athens pattern in Charcoal, there are tons of colorways and pattern options that could create the same look.

You can read more about her work and this project in this month’s issue of Grand Luxe magazine and on her blog.
Special thanks to Shay for sharing this!

Beautiful fabric and great drapery detail!
I love the use of your fabric as the drapery detail! I will keep that in my sketch book, wonderful use of fabric. Love that fabric too and especially in the gray. Cant wait until Monday night!!!
BTW, love what you have done with your blog! Very interesting read. Offers so much to do and see and it’s all great stuff!
I always enjoy it.
Thank you so much for sharing our project Tobi! Your Athens fabric really was a fabulous finishing detail for our drapery design. We’ve had such a wonderful response to the room!
