Designing the Chancellor Hotel in Fayetteville, Arkansas

I am so honored to have been a part of designing the new Chancellor Hotel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Don’t you love their chic logo?

This landmark hotel is part of the landscape of the historic downtown square in Fayetteville, home to the University of Arkansas, where I attended college not once, but twice. And since I will be staying at the Chancellor this Thursday night for Thanksgiving, I thought this would be a fun time to give you a look at this special project.

When asked by the new owners of the hotel to design two of the luxury suites, The Chancellor Suite and The Old Main Suite, of course I jumped at the chance. I love hospitality design and even completed my design internship with my design degree in Hospitality Design in Las Vegas for the firm Yates-Silverman, so getting back into the hospitality arena was an exciting return for me.

So over the next couple of days, I am bringing you a look into both suites and the process of designing them. I hope you’ll meet me back here tomorrow to start the tour because during this month of Thanksgiving, I would be forever grateful! :)

See you then!

Xo,
