I am so excited to share an exciting “E” progressive dinner that I went to with my friends yesterday. Many of you have participated in this fun idea I am sure, but if you haven’t…let me explain a little.
The progressive dinner is a dinner party in which each successive course is prepared and eaten at the residence of a different host. In the “E” progressive dinner, there were 4 bloggers that “hosted” a course of dinner at their home (AKA blog). What a wonderfully fun idea, right?
At each stop, a course of dinner was featured, all from my book. And the great news is at each stop, there was a recipe given from that course to try out on your own.
If you didn’t get to go yesterday, I hope you will stop by all of the different homes (blogs) for your feast. The first stop is at Jennifer Brouwer‘s for your appetizers!
Next, you will head over to Ragland Hill Social for Salad with Gwen Driscoll.
Then for your main course, you will visit Traci Zeller!
And as if you haven’t had enough already, you must stop by Stacy Naquin’s for some devine dessert!
And a special treat is that you can enter a chance to win Kathryn Greeley’s Lovely entertaining book at each stop. But no worries if you don’t have time to join in the fun…you can purchase her book HERE for yourself or your friends. Books make lovely Christmas gifts and what’s even more exciting? All proceeds from her December sales goes to a charity!
Kathryn is donating a portion of proceeds from her book to benefit Westie Rescue USA. Look at her adorable Bentley and tell me you wouldn’t be happy to support little guys and girls like him!
If you can’t adopt or rescue an animal in need this year, but you want to help-all you have to do is purchase her book during the month of December, and a portion of your money will go to help support this lovely cause.
Your money could help produce materials to get the word out about Westie Rescue, bathe and treat rescue dogs, provide transportation for the rescue and many more wonderful things.
Give the gift of life and love.
And if you missed our post from this morning about a gingerbread competition. You can read more about it here!
