Here’s a look into what’s inspiring our Tobi Fairley Interior Design staff this week…
Brooke: Our COO may be focused on management but it’s all things design that inspire her. Her current designer fave (besides me of course) is the uber-talented Mary McDonald. Good thing Mary’s new book just came out, it might be the perfect Christmas gift to add to her list.
Brittany: The celebrity style of Olivia Palermo is what Brittany’s thinking about. Especially the military jackets, riding boots and satchel bags. Brittany keeps up with the latest on Olivia through one of her favorite blogs La Dolce Vita.
Tobi: Well it’s the Smart and Sassy bedroom Grant Gibson created for the Elle Decor Showhouse that is inspiring me!! The to-die-for wallcovering, the zebra headboards and the adorable Westies can all come over to my house!!
Ashley: This great honey-colored pea coat from Anthropology is what’s on Ashley’s mind. Maybe it’s the Fall-toned hue that has her feeling warm and fuzzy about this piece.
Margaret: Well our little history buff Margaret is inspired by all things Emily Eerdmans. Spending time on EEE’s blog cozied up by the fire is a perfect way for Margaret to spend time over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Landon: Our resident Anglophile is drooling over the red, navy and light blue goodies found on Smart Turnout. Santa, please add some of these pieces to Landon’s list.

I am currently inspired by summer nights at foxglove (http://www.foxglovebar.co.nz/) restaurant and bar on Wellington’s waterfront, the interior is magical and I love walking through the wardrobe to get to the foxtail cocktail bar.

I am definitely inspired this week by the whole “scandinavian maximalist” thing…. My big focus is to add some modern to my home! Need to do more mixing, and proper layering. I am definitely in a big learning phase! Big Focus. Good thing a parsons desk is on the way.
