I finally got my hands on Essie nail color Mint Candy Apple from their Winter Collection.
I love how it reminded me of one of my favorite spaces. This bedroom in the home recently featured in House Beautiful didn’t make the magazine but not because it isn’t the perfect lovely shade of mint.
While shopping for my new polish, I happened on Essie’s new Spring Line and fell in love with several shades including Tart Deco and Lilacism. I just couldn’t decide which was my favorite, so I bought both.
And though it is a bit of the chicken and the egg debate, I was again reminded how fashion trends and design trends are so closely linked.
Here are a few great rooms that bring together my 3 new favorite Essie nail colors in vibrant, sexy and sophisticated spaces.
If you love these shades as much as I, then rush out and pick up a few of Essie’s new Spring Shades.
Believe me, you won’t be disappointed.

Several years ago I did a room in purple and orange and everyone thought I was crazy. But look, now it’s in. How great is that!
Love, love, love how you connected nail polish to interior design. What bliss.
OK, secretly wish I had thought of it. LOL!
Oh. My. Goodness. Tobi this is amazing! LOVE the round of of rooms inspired by these colors—that last one with the shoes is just KILLING me!
So glad our little exchange about nail polish led to this burst of creative inspiration!

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!
Great room inspiration here! I am loving these new shades too…Lilacism is on my wish list for sure.
I LOVE the Tart Deco!! Now how can a nail polish color make one so happy?! Looks like the color I painted our master closet door!

I just saw this via Anne on Twitter. Um, genius? Yes. And the rooms you chose are so spot on! I can’t decide if I’m partial to the lavender wall with the red tagines (gorgeous colours and styling) or the sassy shoes on the floral rug (mostly because I own those shoes). Loved this!
Hi all! So glad you are as inspired by these fab nail colors as me…Thanks for reading the blog!!
And Eddie, you can just wear the polish around the farm without going for the full-on cross dressing. Only you and Jaithan will know.
xoxo, Tobi

Love those nail colors but even more, loving that bedding – would you be able to source it out for me or let me know who makes the fabric?
The bedding in the aqua room is a coverlet and shams from Matouk and custom pillows, duvet and wallcovering by Nina Campbell. Isn’t it lovely?
