I just returned from Richmond and I leave again this weekend for a visit to the High Point Furniture Market. While in High Point, I will be judging the Showroom Design Competition with Editor in Chief of Elle Decor, Michael Boodro and Pamela Graves, editorial director for Home Fashion.  You can read more about the contest here.

But before I head out again for High Point, I wanted to update you on Design Camp.  I am excited to announce that both the Basic Design Camp on November 6th and the Advanced Camp on November 12-13 are officially confirmed!!! So if you are thinking about coming to camp, now’s your chance to snatch up one of the remaining seats and spend a fun weekend in Little Rock emersed in all things design!  So far we have campers registered from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, 6 Texans (boy do Texans love design camp) and of course, several wonderful campers from right here in Arkansas. We have others considering camp from Chicago, Philedelphia, New York, Louisiana, and Maryland just to name a few, so it looks like we will be pretty diverse. I can’t wait to see what other great states we add to our list!!

Later in the week I will have a fun post on “Who’s coming to Design Camp”, which will profile for you some of the unique personalities of former and current Design Camp attendees, their favorite things in life and why they come to Design Camp. And if you sign up, I just might want to profile you too!

Plus at these upcoming camps, I am excited to have some awesome door prizes, give-aways, and party favors for my guests. Plus we’ll have great food (mom’s doing the cooking ) and  I will be doing some fun photo and video sessions so that I can really capture what it is that makes campers want to come back again and again to the Tobi Fairley Design Camps. I’d love to have you take part in these fun video sessions too.  Who knows, you might just end up on the Tobi Fairley blog or in a national magazine!! And the surprises don’t stop there. You’ll just have to sign up to see what other treats I have in store for you.
