Breakfast with Santa and the Fairley’s

Posted by

I recently created a colorful Breakfast with Santa tablescape for my family to enjoy this holiday season.

Taking cues from some great seasonal plates I bought from Target years ago, I put a European twist to my little breakfast soiree…a Parisian one to be exact.

With Eiffel Towers from Hobby Lobby and other French-inspired decor, my breakfast room when from ordinary to tres magnifique!

And the menu…beignets, pastries, and croissants paired with other goodies with a French flavor were a must! Pairing these with eggs and maybe even pomme frittes would be fun. And don’t forget the hot cocoa!

To personalize the party, custom made slipcovers for each family member made from one of my new Tobi Fairley Collection fabrics was a cute detail. They fit beautifully over my favorite breakfast chairs.

We even made a spot for Rudolph and Santa himself.  With gifts to match, I think the guests will be quite excited to find their place at the table.

Our every day banquette with black and white houndstooth pillows, has quite the added punch with bold houndstooth and striped pillows from the Tobi Fairley Collection.

If you are sure to keep yourself on the nice list this Christmas, you might just get invited to be our guest for breakfast with the “Big Guy”.

So lovely…….what a beautiful and clever way to incorporate a Paris theme with your holiday tableware. The patterned fabrics definitely make it fun and lively for little ones – and yet the entire tablescape remained classical and elegant for adults (and Santa) to enjoy also. Merry Christmas!
