November: My Favorite Time of the Year

Posted by

This harvest-inspired table compliments of Marthastewart.com sets the stage for my favorite time of year. The cooler temperatures, gorgeous fall foliage, and the reflection on our many blessings all make for a heart-warming month for me.

Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday. It is not about gifts but about gratitude. And I find it much more easy-going and relaxing than Christmas. There is no hustle and bustle making sure you remembered everyone on your list, but more a time to remember everyone in your heart. And to give thanks for all those that have remembered you over the past year.

So this year as I count my blessings, I will definitely be giving thanks for all my new friends and fans that were brought into my life from my blog. Thank you all for reading. And thank you for hanging on lately while I haven’t been as active here on the web as earlier this year. I have been busy with my family, trying to find balance, and concentrating on what is really important in my life.

I hope my writing has brought some small blessing into your life this year. And I look forward to the months and year ahead. I have some very exciting plans for making the blog and my family co-exist together while continuing to bring joy and inspiration to you, my readers.

Happy November! I am grateful for you all.
