Before & After: Tobi’s Master Bathroom

 "Tobi Fairley"

This month’s Before & After post is my master bathroom.  For bathrooms, I LOVE an apothecary look.  As you can see from my pictures, the before was far from the look I truly wanted.

I was quite pleased with the results of the makeover.  What do you think?

  1. … And the miracle was made! :-)

Wow! I’m beyond pleased with the results! It’s incredible and so classic. This bathroom will be looking good for many years to come.

    Enjoy your day!

Beautiful! I like how the tile makes the ceiling look even higher.

  3. I think I’m in love with all that white subway tile !

What a dream of a new bathroom!! I love all the storage, the countertops, and the tilting mirror. I am much too green with jealousy to be properly happy for you. But on the other hand, while my current bathroom situation is much worse that yours was, you have given me hope that I, too, can effect a much-needed bathroom transformation! Thanks for the inspiration, and congratulations on your beautiful redo :)

what shutters are you using here?

it might be helpful to readers to know how much of the room was custom and how much was “off the shelf.”

also there seems to be very little info on magnifying mirrors. the best mirror i have come across was in europe in a friend’s parents’ apartmentmany years ago. the prices range widely, but with no industry standard. do you have advice on this?

wonderful job on the make over!

  6. So much brighter and cheerful! Subtle subway tile. Love the thin profile of the marble counter, the flexibility of the tilt mirrors and the shelving at the foot of the tub.

    Cheers,

Absolutely love the master bath redo. Would you please share the source for the blue and white stripped towels? I am in the middle of a bathroom renovation as well…and wondering if it will ever be finished!!

    Beautiful transformation!

Just beautiful! are the flowers fresh or silk?
    Thanks.

  11. It’s beautiful and while I understand putting the marble on the floor, I still sorta loved the hex tiles from the before shot. But alas, it’s a bathroom you can lounge in….
