Design Summer Camp session 2 is all about what inspires you. Campers will be taking the things they love and turning them into a stepping stone for a beautiful room.
Here are some things that inspire me…
White Peonies
Blogs (this image from Coco +Kelley)
Classic ornamentation
Other Designers creations
Bold, geometric fabrics
Pure, gorgeous color
Fashion
DIY projects
Entertaining in Style
Now don’t you think these are the perfect pieces to inspire a beautiful room?
So here’s the fun part. I will be bringing my favorite inspiration boards from my Design Campers here to the blog later this week for a vote and the winning board gets a fabulous spa package from Ava Bella Day Spa. What a way to find some inspiration, Right?
And now for even more exciting news…You can be a winner too! Email your very own digital design inspiration board to us at info@tobifairley.com by noon this Friday July 16th and I will select one of you to win free tuition to an upcoming Design Camp Weekend Session (travel and lodging not included). This prize is valued at $500 but the design skills you will learn are priceless! So get to work on your board today.

Thanks for the mention!
Your designs inspire me all the time so I’m glad I can give something back!
My husband seriously told me I should fly out for summer camp.
Maybe next year!
You are welcome Caitlin! We are going to be having more design camps this fall including a weekend camp. Maybe you could fly in for one of those. Thanks for letting me use your photo as inspiration. I love it!!!
When I was 12 (1970), I had the same campaign furniture in my bedroom as the green chests in your pic, except that mine was bright yellow. There was a dresser with a hutch, a desk, and a yellow plastic chair (and purple shag carpeting! :-p). All of the walls were yellow, except for one accent wall that was wallpapered with bright flowers against a yellow background, and had framed Peter Max posters on it. The curtains and bedspreads were a green & white graphic bamboo trellis pattern. Seeing the green chests in your pic reminded me of that insane bedroom. I love that vivid, saturated green. I love all of those green pics. Green is such a great color. It can be a neutral backdrop, or it can be vivid and stimulating.
