Hey there Creative Entrepreneur,

Does the thought of having a highly structured schedule make you cringe? As a creative, I know you can relate to this feeling. For so many years, I hated the idea of being tied down to a schedule. I even had an employee once say she’d plan it all out for me—and I told her: No way!

I get it. I was so anti-schedule for so many years. I never wanted to feel controlled or like I was being put into a box. But, I wasn’t seeing the work-life balance that I wanted to have in my life. In fact, anytime I looked at my to do list, I’d get overwhelmed. Because most of the things on it took about 50% more time than I thought they would. After going into an overwhelm spiral, I finally figured out a way to use scheduling to my advantage—and it’s made all the difference in everything I do, both my work and my personal life.
