Back to School with AY Magazine + Office Supplies for Grown-ups

Posted by

As I told you this weekend, my daughter’s first day of school is literally hours away! While we’ve been busy as bees getting her ready for second grade, I know there are many moms out there who wouldn’t mind a quick kid’s room spruce-up before school starts.

This month, I teamed up with AY magazine to share some tips on how you can make a few fun updates without a huge time commitment.

I have to admit, it’s not just my daughter that gets caught in all the back-to-school frenzy. I fall pretty hard, too — especially for school supplies. (How can I help it!?!). Here are five grownup-worthy school– I mean, office–supplies I could definitely put to use.

Expert Advice: All Through Your House!

Posted by

Each month I am so fortunate to the opportunity to share home design advice with the readers of AY magazine! All year I’ve been taking readers on a guided tour of tips through different rooms of a typical home. I have loved sharing advice in each of these rooms!

We started (appropriately enough!) at the Front Entry

Moved on to other rooms like the Kitchen

And now, in the month of July we’re making a stop in the Home Office — a room where many of us spend a good deal of time!

I hope you’ll follow along for the rest of the tour this year. And…if you’re an Arkansas resident, be sure to register to win our giveaway!

I hope you’re enjoying this month of advice. Tomorrow I’ll have another fabulous guest to share a bit of expertise!!
