Sunday Showcase: Pratt & Larson Tile & Stone

Posted by

Today’s Sunday Showcase highlights one of my absolute favorite tile and stone sources, Pratt & Larson! The company began in in 1980 with artists Michael Pratt and Reta Larson in Portland, Oregon. Since then, it’s grown into a leading tile design company, and I simply can’t get enough of them!  I turn to them for their great selection of tile sizes, shapes and colors.

The hardworking, hand-painting Pratt & Larson staff of 100+ pour endless amounts of time and detail into their custom designs, and it’s so evident in the quality!

They created fourteen unique ceramic style lines and four different glaze lines, and that’s not even including their specialty glazes! The best part? Any style is available in any glaze color – just think of the endless possibilities! Check out these beauties I found posted on Pratt & Larson’s blog:

In addition to ceramics, they have gorgeous stone, glass, slabs, and more!

If you’ve enjoyed this little morsel of fabulous tile, check out Pratt & Larson’s blog and website for more!

Sunday Showcase: Century Furniture

Have you seen the Oscar De La Renta Collection for Century Furniture? His furnishings, like his clothing, represent great taste, sophistication, and elegance. He creates each piece with a great attention to detail while still preserving a high fashion look. He uses an assortment of color and texture to craft hisa geless pieces.

This upholstered High Back Arm Chair is one of my favorites! Look at all that color!  It’s a perfect addition to any dining room.

The Greek Key Drawer Chest with Marble Top is gorgeous! We all know I am a fan of bold colors and this is a home run! I’ve featured quite a few green chests on the blog in the past that I love.  This one gets to share that love.  The detail on the drawers and the pulls are perfect.

The Star Patterned Radial Expansion Table is a 60″ diameter table expanding to 84″ with the addition of six leaves.

The Park Avenue Side Chair is a classic!  And I’m swooning over the Greek Key detailing on the upholstery.

I love nailhead trim on a piece of furniture.  The Venetian Sofa has amazing detailing at the base.  And the sofa’s back adds great graphic drama.

This X Book Shelf is great! The ‘X’ detailing on the shelf supports add interest to the piece. This would be a great bookshelf in any space.

What do you think of this collection?  There are quite a few pieces I could easily be at home with!

When shopping for furnture, don’t forget about all the finish options available.  One of favorite finish collections from Century is the High Gloss Enamels.  Take a look at these color choices:
