Woodson and Rummerfield design is no stranger to great press in print and online! The lovely kitchen above is straight off the Elle Decor website complete with before and after photo.

W & R’s website is also quite a fun place to visit. You can check out gorgeous images from their portfolio.

You can shop in the online store for W & R Home items and other gorgeous products that they have hand selected as some of their favorites including furnishings, wallcoverings, fabrics and gifts.

And if these sites are not enough to satify your needs for all things Woodson and Rummerfield, the W & R Style file is Ron and Jaime’s blog with project inspirations, chic social events and design and inspiration boards that can help you feel a part of their Glamorous California lifestyle.

On the style file you can find fun projects like this adorable nursery designed for Christina Aguilera and so much more!

And if you want to step into Jaime’s shoes, follow her on Twitter! She posts lots of twitpics of her fabulous finds around LA.

Jaime is on the forefront of social media in the design industry and Ron isn’t far behind.  So check out all forms of their online presence. You won’t be disappointed.

W & R’s High Style

Posted by

Everything about Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield is high style. So what a perfect title for their fabulously sophisticated and glamorous book.

High Style isn’t simply a book about Interior Design, it is about so much more! For starters, High Style could be considered a guide to personal style. There is as much a statement about fashion in this gorgeous book as there is a testament to Hollywood interiors.

But don’t worry, High Style isn’t short on gorgeous and glamorous spaces.

In it you’ll find loads of lacquer, miles of mirror, and all thing necessary for W & R’s “Modage” decor.

And because Woodson and Rummerfield are designers to the stars, there is no shortage of celebrity projects in High Style.

You’ll find dramatic designs worthy of iconic status.

And memorable spaces fit for a Diva.

And the good news…with amazing projects like the home of Christina Aguilera in their recent repertoire,  W & R has plenty of material for Volume II.

They say there isn’t a new book in the works just yet, so when High Style leaves you wanting more, Woodson and Rummerfield’s Blog can keep you satisfied with new projects and inspirations.

And in my opinion Ron and Jaime need not be in too big of a rush for book #2, because High Style is so chock full of amazing interiors and gorgeous fashion, you can read it again and again and see something new every time.

So take my word for it, High Style is a must read! You can order a copy today from my Amazon store. And leave a comment here to enter to win an autographed copy.

A drawing for High Style will be held this Friday at noon Central Standard Time.  Good luck and stay tuned for more on the dynamic duo of Woodson and Rummerfield including an exciting podcast interview later this week.

Woodson and Rummerfield’s House of Design

Posted by

I have been hearing about the talented design duo of Woodson and Rummerfield for a few years now. I became most familiar with their work when they were voted as part of the Top 20 Young Designers in America for 2009 by Traditional Home Magazine, the same year I received this amazing honor.

Shortly afterwards, Jaime and I began an online friendship through Faccebook and Twitter and I have been admiring their unique design style ever since!

Both Ron and Jaime derive their great sense of style and color from their childhoods in California.  Jaime’s upbringing by artsy bohemians exposed her the the bold color palettes and now vintages styles of the 60′s and 70′s.

Ron grew up tagging along with his high-profile bass player dad to some of the most elegant homes in Hollywood. This exposed him to the art of design and fashion and developed in him a great appreciation for the beautiful things in life.

When Jaime and Ron were brought together by common friends and agreed with what everyone had been saying for years, that they would make the perfect design partners,  they opened Woodson and Rummerfield’s House of Design. Along with their new firm came their new style so they coined a term for their unique design aesthetic…”Modage”.

Modage, which essentially means modern vintage, is a style where old Hollywood glamour and bright California moderne converge.  One look at a signature W & R room and you can instantly understand the term.

Stay tuned for a week-long look at Jaime and Ron and their amazing work, furniture line, book and more.

And please leave comments on my posts all week to be entered to win an autographed copy of their beautiful book, High Style. You can also purchase your own copy of High Style from my Amazon Bookstore in the sidebar of my blog.

A drawing for the book will be held Friday May 14th at noon Central Standard Time.  Please feel free to leave as many comments as you wish this week, but only one entry will be included per person.

Good luck to you all!
