Today I’m so happy to be guest blogging on “Allen’s Blog.” P. Allen Smith has been a great friend of mine for years and I am continually inspired by his designs, his home and his garden  — in particular the daffodils!!

Head on over to “Allen’s Blog” to see a few a my favorite ways to bring this cheerful color indoors.

Entertaining Extra: P. Allen Smith

Have you seen our Entertaining Feature for March?  The wonderful P. Allen Smith has put together a “daffodil DIY” for my blog this month.  The feature has eveything you need to know to create a fabulous outdoor dining display like the one pictured above.  Gorgeous!

And speaking of entertaining, Allen has a new cookbook.

“In his cookbook debut, P. Allen Smith, America’s best-known gardener and garden designer, celebrates the bounty of each season with recipes of flavorful fruits, vegetables, and herbs at their garden-fresh best.”

This is a wonderful cookbook and you won’t be disappointed adding it to your collection.

And don’t forget about Daffodil Days at P. Allen Smith’s Moss Mountain Farm!  Tour this wonderful farm overlooking the Arkansas River and enjoy 225,000 daffodils.  Wow!

I am planning on heading out there this weekend to get some photos of my 5 year old in the midst of the gorgeous yellow blooms.
