Well the inquiries for Design Camps are coming in like crazy. I have commitments from several people for the basic and the advanced camps in November and a Blog Camp in December. All I need is to get 15 of you confirmed for each session and we can officially “book” the dates. I would love to do that by end of this week so we give everyone ample time to book flights and hotels.
So based on the responses so far, here is what we are shooting for…
Basic Design Camp Saturday, November 6th 9am to 5pm (Cost of camp is $500.00) Need 15 campers minimum to book date!
Advanced Design Camp Friday, November 12th 6-9:30pm and Saturday November 13th 8:30am-5pm (cost of camp $750.00) Need 15 campers minimum to book date!
Blog Camp Friday, December 10th 9am-5 pm (cost of camp $500.00) Need 15 campers minimum to book date! Sign up for this camp just in time to have you blogging by the New Year!!!
We will feed you breakfast, lunch and snacks for the daytime sessions and the advanced camp will include dinner Friday night. Of course we can always have our fun “fireside chat” following classes on Saturday evenings at the Capital Hotel Bar and Grille. Each camper is responsible for your own food and drink for this portion but it’s a fun casual way that we really get to know each other!
We will also provide transportation to and from the Capital Hotel for design campers for all classes. If you are coming from out of town, please let us know so we can help you with any questions you may have about travel, hotels, shopping, restaurants and more. And if you come in for the Friday Blog Camp in December and want to stay in Little Rock for the weekend to do some Holiday Shopping, we will provide you with a shopping, restaurant and entertainment guide to help you check everyone off your Christmas list.

Now for the other fun announcement…
I will be adding several new blog series over the coming months and one of those is the “Designer Mail Bag”. This fun series is an “ask Tobi” sort of series where readers can submit a design dilemma question along with a photo of the space. I will choose one lucky reader each month and give you a solution to your design problem. So start sending those questions and photos in today.
