I am SO excited to announce that Tobi Fairley and Associates is making a move. Well it’s actually more of an expansion. While I will still have my home base right here in Little Rock, Arkansas, as Truvy says in my favorite Southern movie Steel Magnolias… “I’m a chain!”
That’s right, after a year of having one of my Team Tobi members working with us remotely out of the Dallas area, we are officially setting up shop there to make it easier to work with our design clients and consulting clients in Texas, many of whom are located in Dallas and it’s surrounding areas. And of course we are excited to not only work with existing clients but to grow in the Texas market as we continue to expand all parts of our business both in the interior design category and in business consulting for creatives.
Our new digs are just about ready for Tobi Fairley & Associates to hit the ground running in the sought-after Historic Uptown area. I will be visiting the new design studio again in just a couple of days to approve the finishing touches, located in Maple Terrace, a premier historic building designed in 1927 by English architect Alfred Bossum. The iconic Dallas site has had prestigious residents such as Judy Garland, Elvis Presley, Todd Oldham, and Liza Minelli, and is today known for its strong artist and design community. So we can hardly wait to be a part of it.

Let’s Celebrate! I am so excited to open another location for our business and I can’t wait to be in Dallas each month allowing me to be more involved in the design community there and attend industry events. I have so many close friends in the Dallas design industry and am thrilled this move will allow me to collaborate with these talented and creative designer friends and industry partners even more. This expansion is something I’ve considered for many years and since we are going into our 15th anniversary year, I felt like the timing was just right. It is amazing to have had such growth in our company and we look forward to continuing that growth now in Texas.
The Dallas area is a natural fit for us because it is a vibrant community that is growing at a fast pace, and it’s still so close to our Little Rock home base. My love of design began with an introduction to the industry from my great aunt and cousin who were designers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area during my childhood. I spend much time there during summers going on design project site visits with them. It’s when I fell in love with the profession. Plus, being a BIG Arkansas Razorback sports fan, Dallas is a second home base for “Hog Fans” and has been since the days we were in the Southwest Conference during my childhood. I have spent many a New Year in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl for a big game! And finally many, many native Arkansans live in Dallas and I am so happy to make it easier to work with these friends and contacts of ours living there.

So how will our business work? Well, there will now be two full-time associates in my new Tobi Fairley Interior Design studio. And I will be there part of each month to work with clients and my Dallas team. So if you want to set up an appointment to meet with me for Interior Design or Business consulting in the Dallas area, you can call us today. Our contact number for the new office is 972-996-6655. And of course you can still always reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Want to know what our business consulting is all about? Well in addition to my interior design business, as many of you know, I recently redesigned my life and my brand, launching Tobi Fairley & Associates as a full-service consulting and design company. In addition to designing gorgeous and functional interiors, TFA provides custom-tailored education, enlightened mentoring, and common-sense tools to help companies and design firms improve their business. It encompasses our Design Camps, signature courses like Designer MBA and Design from A to Z, plus webinars and telecalls, information products and much more. We will be launching our all-new and expanded Tobi Fairley and Associates website in just a few weeks. And to see our Fall line-up of courses on design and the business of design, take a look here. Wow! So much going on, huh?
So thank you to Big D for allowing us to be a new part of your design community. I think you are FABULOUS, and I can’t wait to dive right back in to a city that has always felt like a second home to me.
