Williams-Sonoma Designer Marketplace

If you’re a designer, tune in now — this is a must-know, must-have resource! I’m talking about Williams-Sonoma Designer Marketplace. I’ve been a long-time fan of everything that lives under this umbrella from Pottery Barn to West Elm, but today I’m honored to be featured on the site in their monthly “Designer Spotlight.”

If you’re looking for a great resource on design info in general, this site is chock full of it! They consistently share new features from our industry’s top designers on everything from social media to working with color.

As a contributor to their site, I often share my own ideas, advice and information. Here are a just a few of the stories I’ve recently shared on Designer Marketplace:

  1. I am up most days by 5am and I use my mornings to catch up on my blog reading. This was a fabulous read. You are spot on about how social media is a valuable tool for business and how blogging should come from an authentic place. I recently started blogging to showcase resources and tips for interior designers, but unconsciously have been getting a little personal. Those personal posts about why I am starting my own business has introduce me to the most fantastic people I would never have the opportunity to meet at a social event. Social media is more than a tool for business, but is now necessary to communicate with a broader audience. As always, thanks for this informative posts.
