This weekend, I’m once again off to Seattle! As I write this post I am actually looking out a window just like the one above. Thank goodness for in-fight wifi, huh?
Preparation time is over for my Seattle event, and I’m finally going to enjoy all the fabulousness surrounding the DIFAA/Seattle GLAM Events at Masins Furniture. I’m very excited to see how everything comes together, and you have my word that I will share photos and recap the festivities when I return.
Then, on Monday and Tuesday of next week I’m hosting some of my favorite interior designers from across the US for an on-site Mastermind Consulting Group session. Every time we meet with this group of superstars, I share some of my hard-won wisdom and we inspire one another to stay energized and focused on our visions for our businesses!
Then there’s the opening of our client’s exciting new hotel in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Thursday, for which we designed the two luxury suites (yes, we’ll be sharing those photos soon too!), so I’ll be heading off to their opening soiree. Not to mention, I’m urgently making all the final decisions for my space in the Holiday House Showhouse in New York City sponsored by Traditional Home and set to open on October 24th.
All of these exciting events are sure to be fun, and they are going to keep me–and my staff–on our toes! So, in order to give my work all the attention it deserves I’m going to take a one week hiatus from the blog (Can you believe this will be my VERY FIRST “official” vacation from blogging since I first began?! Yes, I’ve taken a break or two, but never planned and on purpose!) But, of course, I can’t be totally out-of-touch as I don’t want you all to miss me nor me miss you. So I’ll be communicating with you through my other social media platforms. Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram and leave me comments and questions there. This will be a fun experiment to see how many of you join me in these other places.

WELL DESERVED!! franki
p.s. Can’t wait for the “next show!!”
I try to think you are relevant, but I see the same hack jobs that you do over and over. And you are so in love with yourself, I don’t know how people stand you.
