It’s January, well for a few more days anyway (!), and that means it’s the perfect time to talk about trends as we move full-speed ahead into 2012. This morning I’m sharing a few of my favorite ways to accent with Pantone’s 2012 Color of the Year, Tangerine Tango.

Why do I love it? For starters, it’s such an energizing and refreshing color.

 

I love the way it reminds me of a Western landscape…

Or a beach sunset.

There’s also something so inviting about Tangerine Tango, that it’s almost like a good phone conversation with a close friend…

 

or getting flowers from someone you haven’t seen in a while.

 

It’s simple to carry this feeling throughout your home with small accessories that can add a bit of a punch to your existing interior.
