I love inspirational posts — especially when they tell you where to get the goods!! Today, I’m excited to have Abbe Fenimore of Studio Ten 25 back with us to share some of her favorite trends and easy ideas for getting these looks in your own home. Happy Decorating! xo, Tobi
Happy Weekend Everyone,
It’s Abbe from Studio Ten 25 and I’m thrilled to be guest blogging on Tobi’s blog once again. Today I thought I would talk about one of my obsessions, and if I had to guess one of yours, too.
Have you ever found yourself flipping through a favorite design magazine, Pinterest or many other places to find design inspiration? If your like me you take your favorites and organize them into boards, rip your favorite pages out of the magazine and save hundreds of your favorite room images on your computer. You know how it goes… You see a room you LOVE and you spend countless hours obsessing over how to re-create that look in your own home. Am I right?
Seeing so many gorgeous spaces can be overwhelming, especially when you know you don’t have access to all of the resources that designers use. As as designer, I access many “trade only” vendors for the furniture, accessories and art that I use in my projects. I receive countless emails from Houzz, my blog and my website asking me “where can I find that?”, and unfortunately I can’t always give them a direct link, because those pieces may be custom, sold to the trade only or no longer available.
So today, I thought I would share two rooms from my portfolio that receive the most “where can I find that?” questions. A classic black & white design scheme with bold graphics, pops of color and glamorous accessories. We all dream of living and creating a space that reflects us. Our home is where we can be ourselves, create memories and enjoy a little time away from the hustle & bustle of this busy world. I hope you enjoy the vignettes below and who knows, maybe your find a little inspiration for your home!
Good luck with your own decorating adventures!
