If you follow the blog (or my Twitter and Instagram feeds @tobifairley) you know I love Instagram.

Whether it’s sharing pics of my recent trip to Scotland,

presents for my 7-year-old’s birthday,

or one of my favorite flowers in full bloom, I love to take pics of my day and share them with friends like you.

Even though I love Instagram and all the effects they offer, I’m also always on the hunt for the latest and greatest new tools and apps. I found a few new ones that make Instagram even better! I thought it might be fun to try them on a few of my past projects and see how it turned out.

I used Pixlr-o-matic for this one. I created this with the ‘Sophia’ filter and the ‘Wave’ effect.

The app I used to create this is called Color Splash. I think that pretty much says it all!

Finally, sometimes it’s necessary to show more than one picture to get the full story. Diptic is my absolute favorite app to use for with multiple pics and you can take it one step further and change up the borders to your liking.
