Remember when the phonebook was your go-to resource tool? Thankfully, the digital world has cured that! These days there are tons of ways to find just what you need with a few clicks.
One of the best new resources for design is Dering Hall. If you aren’t familiar with the site, it’s an online storefront for the nation’s hottest and most-sought-after designers and artisans. The thing I like most about it is you get access to all the latest products and services in one convenient, easy-to-browse location.
Designers have their own pages or “storefronts” that not only allow you to see their work, but also gives you contact info, links to their work and any products they have available for sale. Here’s what my current page on their site looks like:
They also allow you to follow designers and see when they’ve added new products or services, which can be a huge time saver when you’re on a hunt for the latest in lighting, furniture or anything really!
You can browse by state if you want to find designers in your area. Or if you’re looking for a specific product, you can also shop by categories and, for example, see all the available lighting options. You can even narrow it down by selecting categories like modern or traditional (see the options below). Don’t you love it when things are this simple?
Starting this spring they will also have featured sales with curated selections and products from your favorite designers.
