Tobi…..I love this! I am sure that “crib” could use some updating
Tobi, did you have an opportunity to meet Bill Clinton at the Las Vegas Market? Looks like it’s your turn to be the next White House Designer.
So weird, just the other day after watching an episode of The West Wing I was telling my friend how if I was ever first lady I would have Tobi Fairley be the designer (each president gets to make changes to the oval office, the only things that stay the same is the desk and the seal.) Anyhow, just so funny you did this piece!! Literally just a few days ago. My dream when I was little was to be the first lady of Alabama hahaha!!
What a great post! I love American history & design. They could use your talent in the White House…especially in the oval office. Your creative update to Truman’s Library is awsome. Years ago I attended Design 2000, an ASID event in High Point, and Kaki spoke along with Mario Buatta (He decorated the VP’s house). It was really interesting. I VOTE Tobi for the next White House Decorator. Maybe we should campaign!
What a fun project! I have been to the White House and it could use an update….love the yellows you chose for Nancy Reagan’s office.
Tobi, you are spot-on with Nancy’s office-that chandelier you chose is fabulous for that space. Your vision is impecable. I would think it to be intimidating to decorate a presidential space! Just beautiful Tobi!
Love this! How do you make you drawings & boards? which program do you use?
