I love monograms on many things including furniture. Loved the Ikat pattern most but liked others as well and would select different styles for different gifts. Love the unbreakableness of Melamine. Tobi, you might want to pass along to them that their website needs to show the diameter of the plates. When I went to the “personalize a plate” page, I had no idea what size plate I was ordering — dinner, lunch, salad, dessert???? What??? I did find the size of the platter and placemats. I would suggest they make that change as it may be causing people not to place their order if they are unsure of what they are purchasing. I searched their site for general information and still couldn’t find it. It shouldn’t take a buyer that much effort or having to email them.
My family and guest would love a summer table set with La Plates. What a fun way to add some style as well as beautiful colors to the typical southern supper! Not to mention the option to personalize- who doesn’t love to see their monogram? I’ve never purchased for myself, but La Plates make the best gifts.

Ever since House Beautiful’s “The Best” article featured La Plates, I’ve been back and forth about which pattern to select. Winning this giveaway would finally require me to make a decision. The plates would be the perfect compliment to dining al fresco on our deck (esp. since we have kids).
LaPlates make setting the table, whether indoors or out, so much fun and so easy! Easily coordinated with fresh cut flowers and accessories…and Wa-La!! Doesn’t everything taste better on a beautiful table?! They bring out the decorator in all of us;)
La Plates are so unique and clever, I’ve been a fan since I read about them a few years ago. They offer so many tremendous choices but my favorite has to be the ‘chevron’ plate in black with the monogram in green. Classic enough that you could use them over and over again. I love the way blog look Tobi, such a bright pop of colors and fun, like you!

I have been a fan of La Plates, but haven’t been able to treat myself to a set. I can think of so many occasions and places to take these.
