The Season’s Hottest Color Story

This morning on KATV’s Good Morning Arkansas, I showed the season’s hottest color duo – Ruby & Turquoise!  I love having fun at the holidays; especially with color.  This year why not stray from the traditional red and green?  The photo above demonstrates one of the affordable ways to add a little color impact to your holiday decor.  Using apothecary jars you might already have around the house, fill them with color coordinated candies to add a fun punch of color!

An easy, affordable way to dress up your apothecary jars is with labels.  All you need is a bit of satin ribbon, paper and markers.  Get creative with the label’s shape and color selections.  You can write any word that evokes the holiday spirit for you!

A super easy way to add impact to your holiday look – wrap all those presents under your tree in paper and ribbon than continue your color story.  You’ll be amazed at what a difference this makes!  Here, I’ve paired red houndstooth paper with turquoise satin ribbon.
