This morning’s Design Time with Tobi Fairley segment on KATV’s Good Morning Arkansas was all about summer outdoor living. The folks at Arkansas Garden Center were kind of enough to loan some of their merchandise for the segment.
I featured a folding table and chairs from the Summer Nights collection from California Floral and Home. The lime and coral colors are just the punch of color your outdoors need!
The outdoor rugs from Mad Mats are completely maintenance free! They are made from recycled plastic so they are a great sustainable choice. The rug featured in the segment was the Mixed 5×8 Pastel Tones.
Here are a few of the Trina Turk Indoor/Outdoor fabrics from F. Schumacher from the show. Aren’t the colors and patterns delicious!
Don’t be afraid of color on your outdoor furniture! Think of your outdoor spaces like your indoor rooms!
You can easily recreate the potted fern I showed you on the show. Start with a terra cotta pot and get out the paint!
I painted this one SW 6579 Gala Pink from Sherwin-Williams.
You can find a garden stool similar to one I showed on the segment at Ballard Designs.
I hope I’ve inspired you to add a bit of color to your outdoors this summer. You’ll be amazed at what a difference you’ll make! And if you’re in the Little Rock area, be sure to check out my friends at Arkansas Garden Center!

I am just curious how to get some of these prints? (Trellis/Watermelon, Santorini/Persimmon, Sunglass/Pool)
