Kathryn Greeley – Tabletop and Entertaining Expert
Greetings readers of Tobi’s Blog! It’s wonderful to be back here this month and share some great kitchens with you. I love to entertain and it all starts in this room. The kitchen is the heart of the home and the command center for any social event.
I’m known for my “collected” look and today I wanted to show you some fabulous kitchens that reflect that ideal.
I love William Yeoward’s Cotswold kitchen shown in his new book William Yeoward At Home. I love all the elements: a window seat, very “unfitted cabinets”, a dresser filled with all of his collections, a scrubbed antique table, an AGA cooker. A perfect example of a lovely collected kitchen!! And the pantry just between the kitchen and the dining room to store all of ones collectibles! A comfortable wing chair for reading or relaxing with a cup of tea, etc.
I have a great love for bespoke Christopher Peacock kitchens- classic white cabinetry, white marble countertops, mixed with dark wood in bar stools, breakfast tables and floors and fabulous antique French copper cookware and epicurean antiques.
I like the look of this “unfitted” kitchen with its soft colors and patterns. Very much a collected, comfortable look.
The dark floors. The beautiful cabinetry. The floor to ceiling display cabinet! This is the collected look at its finest!
I’ve been blogging all about the kitchen this month on my blog, The Collected Room. I hope you’ll stop by and take a look!
