Well friends, thanks for allowing me a little R & R to start the New Year.  My team came up short in the Sugar Bowl, but New Orleans was loads of fun.  Now let’s get back to business with my January features. It’s time to head on over to my blog sidebar and see what I have in store for you.

The Home and Garden feature is an inside look at a project you all had a taste of in 2010. But this month, I will be giving you a much closer look. Erin was a couple of steps ahead of me this week when she posted on the fabulous floors in this project’s stunning kitchen and breakfast areas. Thanks House of Turquoise! And then settle in for a little arm-chair travel this month in my Travel and Leisure feature. This winter weather calls for cuddling up with a good book and here are a few of my favorites.
