It’s my birthday! And I know you won’t believe this (I hardly believe it myself), but I am actually taking off work.
My little one is out of school today and she has our entire day planned. First we are getting pedi’s (she’s getting nail art), then we are meeting my mom for Chinese foood, followed by a trip to the party store so she can purchase a few supplies, and then a party at home with steaks cooked by my hubby, family game night, and a Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake (in HER favorite flavor no doubt!).
All this by my five-year-old future event-planner. And she just said to herself “This is the best day of my entire life!” But the truth is, this is the best day of MY entire life!!
I think 39 is going to be a GREAT year!

’39 was a very good vintage and it’s only gotten better with time. What a lovely, memorable day your 5 year old daughter planned for you. (I suspect the apple didn’t fall far from the tree…) Take LOTS of pictures! I know you will savor the moment.
