This cute owl novelty print is from Duralee’s Westbury Collection.  One of the designers in my office had chosen this fabric as an accent fabric in his newly arrived niece’s nursery.  When it came time for the baby shower, another family member took a memo of the fabric to the bakery.  The hope was to get the color scheme of the cake to match the new nursery.  It was a delightful surprise when the cake arrived looking just like the fabric!

It turned out so cute!

Every detail from the fabric seemed to be present on the cake.

I’d say they did an amazing job for a precious little girl!

This cake was created by the talented people at Nana’s Cookies & More in Benton, Arkansas.  I hear they always do an amazing job.  So the next time you are looking for a little cake decorating inspiration, perhaps take a look at fabric!
