Before & After: My Daughter’s Room

Today we’re exploring more of my home in the Before & After series.  I had so much fun creating a new bedroom for my daughter.  I wanted something fit for a princess!

BEFORE

The color on the walls and the wall to wall carpeting were not what I had in mind.  I needed to make big changes here!

AFTER

I began by painting the room a soft lavender color.  I replaced the chandelier with a more delicate fixture.  The carpeting was removed to make way for new hardwood flooring and a custom room size rug.  The room is all about taking traditional design elements and infusing them with a lot of color and fun!

I love her room! Our moldings look very similar. Are yours all the way to the ceiling or do you also have a small gap between the molding the ceiling??
