Q:

This huge mirror is beautiful itself but doesn’t look right where it is now. I will mount it on the wall. I think I need something else like a skinny bench and/or some accessories, like a vase? The space I have there is 75W and 13.5D, 96 H. Please help.

Thanks for submitting your question!  That’s a big bold mirror and I everyone knows I love big and bold.  Your mirror will look a lot better once you get it hanging on the wall.  It looks from the picture that this might be a stair landing?  I don’t think that I would clutter this area with a lot of accessories.  Your thought of using a bench would be great.  This would help to soften the scale of the mirror.

The Colette Bench from Crate & Barrel would work well here.  The light upolstery would soften the space.  The nailhead trim adds a level of detail needed to make it more unique.

Good luck with your decorating adventures!
