A Little Trip for the New Year and a bunch of Sugar!

Hi Friends,

I haven’t forgotten you or the blog or my monthly features. I am working hard to get them up for you really soon.

But I have to say, I have my priorities straight. My team, the Arkansas Razorbacks and Coach Bobby Petrino, are playing in a little game called THE SUGAR BOWL tomorrow.  Yes, we made a BCS game and my family (11 of us) and I, along with everyone else from Arkansas, is in the Big Easy having a good time!

Right now, I am off for a big dose of powdered sugar at my favorite breakfast spot, Cafe Du Monde.

Check back later in the week for my January features, my New Year’s Resolutions and more.

But for now all I have to say is…GO HOGS!!!!!

The Sugar Bowl was a tough one for Sally and me to watch.
Split loyalties… She has cousins who live an Fayetteville, one who played for the Razorbacks a number of years ago. I have a niece (married to a Buckeye) and nephew who attended Ohio State. We did a tally the other night and realized we have family who are attending or have attended about a dozen of the bowl schools this year. It’s been a busy bowl season for us.
