Day 7 of Things I Love…The Thomas O’Brien Secretary

I love, love, love the Hallings Secretary by Thomas O’Brien for Hickory Chair. It is one of the few peices of furniture that I have used over and over again. I even have it in my own bedroom.

I think the Hallings will be one of the iconic pieces of this era for future generations to admire and collect.

Day #7 of the Things I Love…The Hallings Secretary. Enough said.

  1. Thank you for your passion for both Thomas O’Brien and Hickory Chair. Thomas has an amazing new collection with Hickory Chair and a new book this spring! April Market will be here before we know it!

    Warmest regards,

  4. I so agree - I love the larhe scale of the secretary, but the classic colour, tapered legs and traditional hardware soften it right up. Great choice!

  5. Thomas has a great eye for timeless details. He took the essence of a great traditional Secretary and modernized it so it is comfortable in today’s homes.

  6. I love this secretary! It brings what is usually a traditional piece into the modern world. It would look great in the more modern homes of today!
