I love Essie Marshmallow nail polish. I wear it every single week of my life. Each Monday morning I go to the world’s greatest manicurist and she makes my hands look gorgeous and classic with this perfect shade of pearl. Marshmallow on the hands is like a gorgeous strand of pearls on the neck, it is exquisite.
However, I have to admit that I am thinking of cheating on my old-faithful polish for a trendier option. I ask myself, “exactly how trendy can something from Chanel, the mother of classic design, really be??” Like their gorgeous bags that go with anything and everything, is Chanel’s Jade nail polish not the “new neutral”??
There is something I love about that perfect shade of retro green. It makes me happy. It reminds me of my new Aquamarine Townie Bicycle, my favorite shade of Kitchen Aid Mixer and it even brings back memories of that school house institutional green that the concrete block walls were painted in my elementary school.
The stars have been embracing it for months now and I do think I am actually ready to make the leap myself.
The Jade polish is perfectly Spring-like, so now seems as good of a time as any to give it a whirl.
So on Day #4 of the Things I Love…I love Marshmallow nail polish and it will be my forever go to color. But just for a little excitement I am going to give Jade a try. What do you think??

I love white nail polish and it has been my signature polish for years, so we are in the same camp on that one. I am not sure about the green,maybe on my toes but not on my fingers. Enjoy the change but I bet you go back to the classic white, Have fun and enjoy the process,Kathysue

I have been wanting the Chanel polish for a while now. It is soooooooo hot!!!!! Go for it!!! It doesnt hurt that green is my fav color!
Tobi, let me know if you find the polish!! I’m in Houston and have been looking for a while. Apparently it is THE new color!!! Very trendy but so cool! I wore french manicure but had gels (fakes) and so happy to have taken them off. My nails are fine, and no more long sessions of filling and filing……now I get the spa manicure and it is wonderful….they massage your neck and shoulders! and put wax on the hands. Wonderful treat!
