Indulge me for just a moment as I depart from interior design for something fabulous and fun, although the design inspiration is pretty great there too. I just returned last night from 4 days in Walt Disney World with my husband and my 4 year old, and as they say, it was truly MAGICAL!!! So today while I get organized and back in the swing of things at work, I wanted one more chance to reflect on the place where a kid can be a kid and an adult can be one too!
Day 16 of Things I Love…Walt Disney World. I know I feel like a princess when I am there and hope you are feeling like a princess (or prince) if even for just a moment today too!
Disneyland is a favourite get-away of mine as well. Sometimes your inner child needs to run around and ride roller coasters all day.

We lived in Orlando for a year, near Disney and the Airport…I think the kids were 10 and 12 at the time. It’s so much fun!! Our favorite thing was to pack a picnic lunch, and head to Typhoon Lagoon for the day…thanks for the fond reminders. And…it’s so clean there!!

Hi Tobi, I live in Calif so it is Disneyland for me and I agree!!! So magical at any age. I think it brings out the joyful child inside of us all. I can just sit and watch people and have a great time. The wonderment in the young and the old,like I said just magical. Do you study all the arhictecture of the buildings and the color combinations they paint things? Sorry I can’t help myself, you know we creative types are always looking for inspiration. Kathysue
