I am so saddened by the news that one of my all-time favorite publications is closing its doors with the very next issue!! Time Inc. announced today that Southern Accents will no longer be published after the September/October issue!
This is another sad day for Design Media. My friends at Southern Accent are in my thoughts!! I will be wearing black as a sign of my mourning for this glorious southern shelter mag. The only glimmer of hope is the rumor that the website will still exist! Oh how I hope there will at least be a lingering web presence for highlighting lovely southern things!
I was not a follower of SA but I can understand the sadness of losing a long time “virtual” friend. Fortunately we have more blogs like yours that inspire and entertain us.
Sad to hear that! I was very sad to lose my favorite magazine recently, too – Western Interiors and Design. They were bought and are now merged with Luxe magazine, but it is not the same.
