This weekend I had the pleasure of working with my great friend and Event Planner Todd Bagwell of Delaney T. Bagwell and Associates in New York and New Orleans, to throw the fete of the Year. The IV party benefits St. Vincent’s Infirmary Medical Center and in its third year, is a fabulous lounge-like experience on the tented roof level of the hospital parking deck. The atmosphere is designed to mimic an urban night club experience. The brainchild of Todd Bagwell, IV has been a huge success each year and this year’s event was no different.
The red theme under a clear top tent was intended to elicit the space-aged architecture of buildings in such metropolitan cities as Tokoyo. This year’s IV party entertainment was the band Party on the Moonwho recently played at the Republican National Convention, one of President Obama’s Inaugural Balls and the wedding of the NFL great Eli Manning.
Lighted Platforms held Corbusier Sofas and Retro Inflatable Chairs made for Funky seating areas. As the in-kind decor sponsor of the event, I was excited to have my own lighted platform with seating for entertaining friends, dining and dancing!
As part of the host committee, my husband Carter and I were thrilled that our Governor Mike Beebe and First Lady Ginger joined us at the party.

I love what you did here – especially the red. It’s my favorite color. I found you on Twitter’s Follow Friday. Nice to have another designer’s perspective to read.
