I have always loved this mirror over the bed in a Jamie Drake bedroom. I once researched it for months to no avail, believing it to be the perfect addition for a client’s project. I even tried to find a glass artist to craft one for me and I could get no takers.
And then last week while planning my trip to Palm Springs, I was browsing around on Jonathan Adler’s site looking at photos of The Parker Hotel. And to my surprise…here was my favorite mirror’s mate in one of Jonathan’s residential projects. Only it is in gold and not turquoise. I got so excited I was beside myself. I thought that maybe, just maybe, there is someone out there now who knows about my favorite mirror and where to buy it.
So someone please tell me where this mirror came from??? Who made it??? And is it affordable??? I hope so but with the track record I have I am guessing no! But none the less, I gotta know! I might even give away a prize for the lucky person who can identify it! In fact I think I will. It can be the first ever give away on the Tobi Fairley Blog. I hope you are the lucky contestant! I don’t even know what the prize is but I will come up with something!! Good luck!
And while you are dredging up where in the world you might have seen such a mirror before, here are a few of the photos of the Parker in Palm Springs. It is super groovy and I definitely recommend you visit soon!!

Tobi,
I don’t know the origin or manufacturer of that mirror but I will be on the look out for you; I had to comment because one of my friends gives me such a bad time for saying groovy—a term I use in the same vein you did or to just true up plans for a girls night out—she actually bought me a t-shirt once that said I put the G in Groovy—so, your post was refreshing and yes, that hotel does look groovy, in the best sense of the word.
