Day 10 of Things I Love: Sparkling Water

My answer to the age-old question “Still or Sparkling?”…Definitely Sparkling!! I am 100% a bubbles girl!!! I keep my home and office stocked with Sparkling Water! I could just forgo the plain old tap or bottled versions all together!

I think one of the reasons that I love Europe and American cities like New York so much is because Sparkling water is as prevalent as its still counterpart! San Pellegrino is my brand of choice, though any brand will do in a pinch!!! In some restaurants here in the South if you ask for Sparkling Water, they look at you like you have 3 eyes. I am then forced to resort to club soda with lime just to get my bubble fix!

My daughter calls it “Momma’s Sparkly Water” which I think sounds extra fancy and fun! And though I never really appreciated it before, I have become a convert to Champagne, my “Sparkly Water’s” spiked cousin!

  1. We are San Pellegrino lovers too! It’s our little girls “soda pop” of choice. Better for their bodies…not to mention their teeth!

Thank you for sharing the things you love. I’ve enjoyed them all!
    Best regards, Mindy Lockard

Oh, Ms. Bubbly…I am still a “tap” girl! I have not developed a taste for the bubbly yet…maybe when I grow up ;)

    Love your site…

    XOXO-

  3. I love the bubbly also. Thanks for your 10 things you love posts. Really enjoyed them.

If you love sparkling water…Italy has hundreds of different springs, it is amazing the difference between one and the other, in taste, in bubbles, in minerals etc.
I do drink even wine in summer with sparkling water (a spritz), so refreshing.
