A Box of Chocolates

I love the saying in Forest Gump about life…you know the one! “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get!” I often ponder this idea and it seems to me that most of us get our fair share of blessings and challenges! I am an eternal optimist and not much keeps me down.  I am able to find the good out of most any situation, and I have few, if any, regrets! 2009 has already been a tremendous but ridiculously busy year! I do have to admit that with the blessings of growth and recognition, come stress and fatigue! But at the very moments that I feel I need a break, I find inspiration to keep on going!

So here are a few things that inspire me! And I think they look just like a box of chocolates!

a delicious, witty post Tobi! Like a box of chocs it’s almost impossible to know which one to choose. *love* your command of geometrics always.

  3. The bedroom by Phoebe Howard is luxurious and the bed itself looks so inviting. Maybe if I had a bed like that I wouldn’t be up at 5:30 on a Saturday morning reading design blogs….oh wait it’s not by bed that’s the problem…it’s my barking DOG! (gerrrrr…)

  4. The source unknown photo is by Garrow Kedigian. They all look like delicious chocolates to me! I love to see what inspires other designers. Great post.

  5. How i love a box of chocolate! my first business having been a bakery in Boston, the love of chocolate has stayed with me. Since long in design chocolate brown has been my signature color for walls, website, and clothing. i am still trying to get that chocolate brown for my blog background…cannot figure it out still. love the dark brown bedroom walls.

What a beautiful way of presenting great rooms. I also like what you say in the beginning of your post, you have a very good attitude and obviously your clients love you.
